Sharmistha Mukherjee Resigns as Delhi Congress’ Communication Head

Sharmistha Mukherjee has been replaced by Ramakant Goswami.

Sharmistha Mukherjee has resigned from her post as Communications Head of Delhi Congress, and has been replaced by Ramakant Goswami, reported ANI.

Sharmistha, former president Pranab Mukherjee’s daughter, had joined the Rahul Gandhi-led Indian National Congress in 2014.

Sharmistha is also serving as the president of Delhi Mahila Congress, the party’s national media panelist and also a chief spokesperson.

The party has not confirmed her resignation yet.
