Jaipur’s Own Shah Rukh Khan Arrives for Wedding in a Helicopter

A groom from Jaipur fulfilled his dream and his bride’s wishes by arriving in a helicopter at their wedding.

We have often seen the bridegroom arrive at the wedding venue on a horse, a chariot and even a luxury car. However, in a one-of-a-kind entry at the wedding, a groom from Jaipur fulfilled his dream and his bride’s wishes by arriving in a helicopter. The wedding took place at Hapur, Uttar Pradesh.

The bridegroom who shares his name with the Bollywood Superstar, Shah Rukh Khan, says he always wanted his wedding to take place in style.

I arrived at the venue in a helicopter. I will take my wife along and leave. It was my dream to get married this way. I am happy that people appreciated the idea.

Even his bride Tanzim, who hails from an impoverished background in Bijnor district, had a long cherished dream to tie the knot in a unique way. A makeshift helipad was setup in a ground near the venue of the wedding, where the helicopter landed. Post the wedding rituals both the bride and the groom departed in the chopper. Locals thronged the wedding venue to stand witness to the unique marriage.

The Uttar Pradesh administration had deployed police officials at the wedding venue to ensure the wedding takes place without any hurdles.
