Rohtak Horror: Raped by Stepfather, 10-Yr-Old is 5 Months Pregnant
The incident comes less than a week after a 23-year-old woman was brutally gangraped and murdered in the same area.

Less than a week after a 23-year-old was brutally gang-raped and murdered in Rohtak, Haryana, another shocking incident from the region has come to light where a 10-year-old is reportedly five months pregnant after she was raped allegedly by her stepfather.
The condition of the girl is said to be critical.
The girl’s pregnancy was confirmed when her mother took her to Rohtak’s Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Science. The girl then confided to her mother that she was assaulted by her stepfather, who had also warned her against speaking up.
The stepfather has been arrested and a case been registered in this regard. Meanwhile, the girl would be getting counselling in order to help her cope with the assault.
The incident comes when the brutal gang-rape and murder of a 23-year-old woman on 9 May in Rohtak has generated nationwide furore. The woman’s body was discovered mutilated days later on an empty piece of land.
The incident was condemned by Haryana chief minister ML Khattar and Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
