• Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Hare Ram Yadav was shot dead in Bihar’s Samastipur, early on Friday, 22 December.
• Yadav was out for a morning walk when he was shot, WION reported. The motive of the crime has not been ascertained yet.
