In one of his first meetings post BJP's decisive victory, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Monday, 27 May said "Ram's work has to be done and will be done".
He also asked the people to stay "conscious, peaceful, active and strong".
While talking in Udaipur, Rajasthan, Bhagwat said "If we have to do Ram's work, then we have to do it on our own," ANI reported.
Speaking on the need to work on "betterment of institutions" the RSS chief said, "we should work towards the things we always wait for. We need to work for the betterment of the institutons which work towards achieving that goal."
The RSS has been demanding the construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya, an issue that has been a long-standing promise of the BJP. The Ram Janmabhumi- Babri Masjid case is pending before the Supreme Court .
