Rajya Sabha Session Ends, 19 Hours Lost Due to Disruptions
The session began on 25 April and was adjourned sine die after bidding farewell to 53 retiring members.

The second half of Rajya Sabha’s Budget Session came to an on Friday.
A total of 12 bills were passed and 19 hours were wasted due to disruptions over multiple issues like imposition of President’s Rule in Uttarakhand and AgustaWestland controversy.
The session, which began on 25 April, was adjourned sine die after bidding farewell to 53 retiring members on the last day.
The major legislations approved during the session include the Finance Bill and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Bill. However, the GST bill remained pending and was not even listed during the session.
