How Long Will PM Modi Tell ‘Lies’? Asks Raj Thackeray

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi again on Thursday, saying “How long will the PM continue to tell lies to the country”, reported The Economic Times.

Speaking at a rally after taking out a massive procession to Churchgate to demand better facilities to commuters in Mumbai, after the Elphinstone stampede last week that killed 23 people, Thackrey said the country is being pushed into crises across all fronts, brought about by the BJP government.

Modi has been lying and misleading the people of this country. Now I realise that when I visited Gujarat a few years ago, at the behest of (industrialist) Ratan Tata when Modi was the CM, I was shown a misleading picture of the development there.

He went on to mention that the people of the country are losing faith in Modi, who only keeps giving speeches every day – “how much is he going to speak?”

Thackeray also urged the people to step up and speak out against the Government.
