Apart from Sania’s name, the committee also recommended 17 names for the Arjuna awards, including those of Jitu Rai, Rohit Sharma, gymnast Dipa Karmakar

5. Get Well Soon, Mamu

Raju Hirani’s surgery is over and there is nothing to worry. He was taken into Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after he suffered injuries on his chin and lower jaw. Doctors now say he will be discharged in two to three days. From everybody at The Quint, get well soon mamu.

6. Bombay HC Grants Anticipatory Bail to Activist Teesta Setalvad

Bombay High Court grants anticipatory bail to activist Teesta Setalvad in a Foreign Contribution Regulations Act violation case. She and her husband Javed Anand have been accused of violating foreign exchange laws regarding the funding they received from US-based Ford Foundation.
