1. Uphaar Fire Tragedy Anniversary

59 people died of asphyxia in a fire in south Delhi’s Uphaar cinema in 1997 during the screening of Hindi movie Border.

2. Omar to Lead Protest March Tomorrow Highlighting J&K Govt’s Failure

National Conference president Omar Abdullah will lead a protest march to highlight the alleged failure of the PDP-led coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir. Omar will lead the procession from Sher-e-Kashmir Park at 11.00 AM, the spokesman said.

Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton has been a US presidential candidate for seven weeks, but her campaign officially launches today with a rally on a New York City island, her team said. The public event will occur midday on a Saturday in Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park, a picturesque few acres on Roosevelt Island, presumably with Manhattan’s skyscrapers framing the backdrop.
