Thursday morning, Lt Gen Ranbir Singh, the Director General of Military Operations made an announcement that has shocked the country, and sent newsrooms into a tizzy.
In the wake of the Uri attack, the DGMO confirmed that on Wednesday night, the Indian Army had conducted surgical strikes on terror launch pads across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu & Kashmir.
