Fuel Prices Begin to Decline 3 Weeks After Saudi Drone Strike
The price for petrol was slashed by 10 paise, while the prices of Deisel were reduced by 6 paise.

After almost three weeks of spike in fuel prices due to a drone strike in Saudi Arabia, the prices have been reduced by government-owned fuel retailers on Thursday, 3 October.
After the cut, the price of petrol in metro cities stands as follows:
- Delhi - Rs 74.57
- Mumbai - Rs 80.11
- Bengaluru - Rs 77.00
- Gurugram - Rs 74.06
- Hyderabad - Rs 79.14
The prices of Deisel are as follow:
- Delhi - Rs 67.49
- Mumbai - Rs 70.75
- Bengaluru - Rs 69.73
- Gurugram - Rs 66.54
- Hyderabad - Rs 73.50
The petrol prices had spiked in the aftermath of the 14 September drone strikes on one of the country's largest oil facilities. The attack on the Aramco facility had nearly halved more than half of Saudi Arabia's manufacturing output.
However, crude prices have falled every day since the past seven days, and is now nearly lowest in almost two months, a LiveMint report added.
