Speaker of Lok Sabha, Sumitra Mahajan, yesterday suspended as many as 25 Congress MPs for constantly disrupting business of the House.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi had called it a Black Day for democracy. Today top Congress leadership has come out in protest of the suspension near the Gandhi statue in front of the Parliament.

RJD, NCP & SP have expressed solidarity with the suspended Congress MPs and have joined the grand old party in the protest.
