The Prime Minister in his speeches is heavily encouraging India to go cashless. He has even gone to the extent of asking did anyone go to any school to learn how to recharge a mobile phone?

But what about those who have actually never been to school. The Quint met up with Narendra, a ‘gol gappa’ seller. He moved to Delhi 10 years ago in search of employment from his native place in Madhya Pradesh.

Since he is illiterate, Narendra took up the work as a street food vendor. But the note ban has hit his business hard and has made survival extremely difficult for him.
