My Aadhaar Online Contest 2019: Win up to Rs 30000; Details

Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is conducting a My Aadhaar Online contest.

If you have an Aadhaar and would like to make some money then here’s your chance. You can participate in the My Aadhaar Online contest and win up to Rs 30,000. Yes, that’s right! My Aadhaar Online is a contest being conducted by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) for the residents of India. All you need to do is make a short graphic/animation video tutorial on any of the Aadhaar online services.

It is important to note that non-Aadhaar holders cannot take part in the contest.

My Aadhaar Online Contest: Deadline

This campaign began on 18 June and will end on 8 July at 23:59. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) tweeted about the commencement of the contest on 17 June.

The finalists will be informed via an email by 31 August.

There are 15 categories in the My Aadhaar Online contest and 48 cash prizes will be awarded to the winners.

The categories are:

1. Download Aadhaar
2. Check Aadhaar generation/update status
3. Locate Aadhaar Kendra
4. Update address online
5. Request for address validation letter
6. Check online address update status
7. Aadhaar update history
8. Retrieve lost or forgotten EID/UID
9. Order Aadhaar re-print
10. Virtual ID (VID) generator
11. Lock/unlock biometrics
12. Aadhaar authentication history
13. Aadhaar lock/unlock
14. Verify email/mobile number
15. Verify Aadhaar online

The contestants will have to make a short graphic/animation video tutorial on any of the Aadhaar online services.

My Aadhaar Online Contest: How to Send the Video

The candidates need to send their video film to UIDAI. Firstly, they need to upload their video to YouTube or Google Drive or an online file sharing platform (eg WeTransfer, SendSpace, DropBox, JumpShare, Hightail etc). They then need to mail the link of the video to [e-mail].

Candidates cannot send their videos through any other medium as they wouldn’t be considered valid.

All videos must be in MP4, AVI, FLV, WMV, MPEG or MOV format. It is also preferred that the videos sent are in full HD or higher resolution (1920×1080 px).

The candidates must submit the following along with their videos entries:

• Participant’s Aadhaar Number
• Name as on Aadhaar
• Contact address
• Mobile number
• A confirmation that the participant's Aadhaar is linked to a bank account; only Yes/No, the bank details are not required
• If participant’s Aadhaar is not linked to a bank account, participants need to refer to Point No ‘h’ in General Terms & Conditions

My Aadhaar Online Contest: Important Instructions

The participants need to keep in mind that their video entries cannot be shorter than 30 seconds nor longer than 120 seconds. The videos must explain/elaborate the entire process of one service in a manner that can be best conveyed to residents. The participants can submit either a graphic or a white-board animation or in any format they like. The video entries must have clear sound (voice over and/or music). Videos with better sound quality would be preferred.

My Aadhaar Online Contest: Prizes

UIDAI will be giving 48 cash prizes for 15 different categories. The winners will receive their prize money in their Aadhaar-linked bank account. The result for the My Aadhaar Online Contest will be announced on social media by 31 August.
