Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Tuesday addressed the organisation's karykartas (activists) at its annual Vijayadashmi gathering in Napur.

The RSS patriarch touched upon a number of issues during his almost hour-long address, but his strongest comments were reserved for Pakistan.

He also took the opportunity to remind Pakistan that all of Kashmir, including Gilgit and Baltistan, is an integral part of India.

Pakistan Behind Kashmir Unrest: Bhagwat

In a reference to the prevailing unrest in the Valley, Bhagwat accused Pakistan of encouraging separatist forces in Jammu and Kashmir and demanded strict action against those indulging in violence.

"Pakistan is encouraging separatist forces in Kashmir," Bhagwat said while delivering his annual speech during RSS’ 91st foundation day.

"A large part of Kashmir is free of tension. We must act against those indulging in violence. Strict action should be taken," the RSS chief said.

Bhagwat also asserted that "the whole of Kashmir is ours, including Mirpur, Muzaffarabad and Gilgit-Baltistan".

He also heaped praise on the Narendra Modi led government and the army for the “befitting replying” to Pakistan’s transgressions with the September 29 surgical strikes across the LoC.

I congratulate our armed forces who under our government have given forces working against the country a firm and befitting reply.
Mohan Bhagwat

He further added that the government’s handling of the border situation is a matter of pride for every Indian.

He also seemingly gave a clean chit to all the violence in the name of gau raksha by claiming that all gau rakshak’s are “ nice people” who abide by the law and the constitution.
