Govt to Monitor Students’ Academic Performance Through Aadhaar
All School Monitoring Individual Tracking and Analysis or ‘Shaala ASMITA’ will be launched in June.

In its newest scheme, the MHRD is planning to track the academic records of school students and identify dropouts.
All School Monitoring Individual Tracking and Analysis or ‘Shaala ASMITA’, which is expected to be launched in the middle of June, will collect data from all schools with the assistance of local and state administrations.
The scheme will use the students’ Aadhaar card to monitor them performances. The scheme is supported by most states and is expected to launch next month, officials said.
