Intelligence agencies have issued warning against a module, of 8-10 Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists, which will possibly try to carry out a suicide attack against Air Force bases in and around Jammu and Kashmir.
IAF bases in Srinagar, Awantipora, Jammu, Pathankot, Hindon have been put on high alert at orange level. Senior officers are reviewing security arrangements 24x7 to tackle the threat. The alert has emanated after agencies monitored movements of Jaish terrorists.

Three people were arrested by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police after an exchange of gunfire in southwest Delhi's Dhansa-Najafgarh road on Wednesday morning, officials said.
The accused were identified as Pramod, Nishant and Surjeet. Whle Pramod and Nishant were residents of Bawana, Surjeet is a resident of Rohtak.
The trio are members of Sandeep alias Dheelu's gang, police said.

Popular Telugu comedian Venu Madhav, known for his performances in films like 'Chatrapati' and 'Sye,' passed away at the age of 51 on Wednesday.
Venu Madhav, who has been suffering from multiple ailments, including chronic liver cirrhosis, breathed his last at a private hospital in Hyderabad, hospital sources said.

The International Monetary Fund on Wednesday formally selected Kristalina Georgieva of Bulgaria to be only the second woman ever to lead the 189-member institution.
The selection had been all but guaranteed after the global crisis lender said earlier this month that Georgieva, a former World Bank CEO, was the sole candidate.
In acknowledging her selection, Georgieva spoke of tempestuous times for the global economy.

Speaking to ANI, Antigua and Barbuda PM Gaston Brown on Wednesday said that they are not interested in having Mehul Choksi in the country and that he “brings no value to the country”.
“He will be deported ultimately after he exhausts appeals… or he will be repatriated or extradited… Indian officials are free to investigate based on his willingness to participate,” Brown was quoted as saying.
US President Donald Trump called the grounds for his impeachment laid out by Democrats "a joke," after he was accused of pressuring his Ukrainian counterpart for domestic political reasons.
"When they look at the information, it's a joke. Impeachment for that?" Trump told a news conference in New York on Wednesday, a day after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the launch of impeachment proceedings.
