Kanhaiya Kumar’s Post-Release Speech Earns Him Fans and Haters

Kanhaiya’s speech at JNU earns him many new fans but also gets condemned by others.

Kanhaiya Kumar was arrested and taken away as the elected president of Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union. He returned a hero to his campus. He’s already become a neta with a following.

Kanhaiya’s speech at JNU earned him many accolades from his colleagues in the campus but it was also broadcast live across the nation on national news channels.

Reactions to his speech indicate that the divisive impact of the JNU’s sedition row has only deepened.

Leaders and commentators from across the spectrum including AAP and Congress commended Kanhaiya’s speech.

However, a few others were left unimpressed.
