Senior journalist Gautam Siddharth, who was working with the Times of India as a senior editor, passed away on Thursday, 11 January.

He reportedly collapsed and died of a cardiac arrest while at work.

According to an Exchange4Media report, colleagues ran towards the washroom when they heard a loud thud and discovered the editor lying on the floor. He was immediately taken to GB Pant hospital, where he was declared dead.

Just earlier this month, Anoop Kumar, another senior journalist with Times Now, a part of Times Group, passed away while on a vacation with his family in Manali. According to social media posts, he died of a cardiac arrest.
