Security has been increased in Jammu and Kashmir as well as Delhi after an intelligence input has intimated about the presence of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) chief Masood Azhar's nephew Mohammed Umer in India, purportedly to set up terror modules and to recruit youth into militant ranks.
WHAT DOES THE INTELLIGENCE INPUT SAY?
According to The Indian Express, the intelligence input reveals that Mohammed Umer, who is the son of Masood Azhar's elder brother Ibrahim, has infiltrated into J&K, along with one Mohammed Ismail, who used to be bodyguard of Azhar's younger brother Abdul Rauf.
Ismail is currently suspected to be "in the general area between Pulwama and Srinagar" in J&K.
On the other hand, Mohammed Umer has been entrusted with the responsibility of recruiting and training the "Kashmiri youth" and he is supposed to be in the Valley for six months.
The input further reveals that Umer even managed to escape an encounter with the security agencies, adding that the two suspected terror operatives are presently together to implement their plans.

Security has been beefed up especially in J&K and the national capital, with special emphasis on army camps in Kashmir. The authorities in J&K have been directed to have more number of pickets as well as increase the number of road-opening exercises, The Indian Express reported citing Home Ministry sources.
Meanwhile, patrolling has been increased in Delhi, with special directions to the police and the central armed forces. The security in the Delhi metro has also been increased.
