The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2018 answer keys have been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday, 24 April. The keys will be available till 27 April on the official website – jeemain.nic.in.
Around 10.43 lakh candidates had appeared for the examination. The offline test was held on 8 April and the online test was conducted on 15-16 April across the country.
Candidates can raise objections to the answer keys online by paying a certain fee and till 11.59 on 27 April.
The result of the JEE Mains 2018 Paper 1 will be declared on 30 April. Whoever qualifies for the JEE Advanced will get a chance to be enrolled in IITs and other prestigious colleges based on their rankings.
Last year, the cut-off for the JEE Mains was 81 for general category and for OBC, SC and ST, the cut-off was pegged at 49, 32 and 27 respectively. The Indian Express said, quoting reports, that seats would be allocated for female engineering candidates in various IITs.
