Hands of Jawans Not Tied During Ramzan ‘Ceasefire’, Says Rajnath

Singh said that the centre had only suspended operations, but the hands of the jawans are not tied.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday, 29 May warned the terror groups in Kashmir, saying that the hands of jawans were not tied and they would act if there were attacks from the former during the month of Ramzan.

When asked about the continuing violence during Ramzan "ceasefire", Singh said that centre had only announced a suspension of operations.

"If there is a terrorist attack, the hands of the jawans are not tied," he added.

Singh, member of parliament from Lucknow, addressed the media on the completion of NDA's four years in power.
