An Indian woman, identified as 61-year-old Razeena, is among those killed in the series of blasts that shook Sri Lanka, reported The News Minute.
Razeena was a native of Mogral Puthur in Kasargod, Kerala and had gone to visit her relatives in Colombo. She died in the blast that hit a church in the capital.
The Kerala state government has begun the process of bringing her mortal remains back to Kerala.
“The series of blasts in Sri Lanka are condemnable. The fact that it happened during a day like Easter points to communal intolerance behind this. We stand with all those who are aggrieved and condemn the communal and terror interests that worked behind this,” Vijayan wrote in a Facebook post.
James Joseph, Superintendent of Police, Kasargode told The News Minute that they had traced her relatives and that it would take some time to reach there.
Over 190 people have been killed in eight blasts that rocked the country on Sunday. Explosions were reported at three hotels and three churches which were observing Easter Mass.
