Indian Army Rubbishes Pak’s Claim of ‘Insider’ Role in Pathankot

The Indian Army said NIA conducted a thorough probe into the Pathankot attack and ruled out the role of an insider.

  • The Indian Army has rejected Pakistan’s allegation that an insider may have played a role in the terrorist attack on the Pathankot airbase.

  • The Army maintained that the attack was planned and sponsored from across the border.

  • Lt Gen Singh of the western command said the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) conducted a “thorough probe” before coming to the conclusion that there was no insider’s hand in the attacks.
