Madhya Pradesh boy, Satvat Jagwani, has bagged All India Rank (AIR)1 in the Indian Institute of Technology- Joint Entrance Exam (IIT-JEE) conducted in April 2015.
IIT-Bombay released the result on Wednesday, June 17.
Harsh Meena, (AIR 633) has topped the reserved (Scheduled Tribe) category.
A total of 7736 ST candidates had appeared for the exam.
As many as 26,456 candidates have qualified to pursue under-graduation in various faculties of engineering from the premium technical institutes of the country.
The candidates will be divided into 20 different IITs and one National School of Mines.
According to the result declared by IIT-Bombay, this year, the number of reserved (Scheduled Caste) candidates who have qualified is 1.4 times more than the number of the seats available.
