A man in Gurgaon was stopped by traffic police on Wednesday, 19 December, for driving on the wrong side of the road. Instead of pulling over, he attempted to drive off, hitting and dragging the police officer on his car’s bonnet in the process. The officer was driven on the hood of the car for 100 metres before the driver finally stopped.

In the recording of the incident that took place near Signature Tower Chowk, the driver can be heard saying "My uncle is in the police. Do whatever you want," after he was stopped by the officer, news agency ANI reported.

The man has now been arrested, and the car seized.
