A heart warming story has risen from the air ambulance crash disaster after it was revealed that a 23-year-old girl risked her life to save her father, a brain hemorrhage patient.
Times of India reported that just minutes after the flight crashed, passengers were instructed to leave but Juhi Roy stayed and attempted to pull her dad out on his stretcher before the pilot helped her to get him out.
The six-seater Beech King Air C-90A aircraft with seven people onboard, crash landed near Delhi’s Najafgarh area due to engine failure. It was on its way from Patna to Delhi with Virender Rai in desperate need of medical attention.

Juhi told TOI that the pilot instructed them to run away after the crash landing. Everyone crawled out except her and her father, who was unconscious.
With the help of the pilot, she managed to get her father out and placed him on the stretcher under a tree. She then returned to get his oxygen tank, going in once again to get his medical records and money for the surgery, despite repeated warnings that the plane could explode anytime.
It was her presence of mind that saved the day as she dialed 100 and took the help of a local to give police the exact location.
The girl was lauded for her courage and bravery. Her father sustained no external injuries and is being treated at a hospital in Gurgaon.
