Teenager Abducted, Gang-Raped & Murdered in UP’s Bulandshahr

A 17-year-old girl was allegedly abducted, gang-raped, and murdered in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. The girl, a class 12 student, was on her way home from her tuition class on Tuesday, 2 January, when she was allegedly abducted by a group of people in a car, according to a report by NewsX.

Locals discovered her body near a lake on Thursday, 4 January, and alerted the police. The police said they suspect that the minor may have been gang-raped. Five persons have been detained in connection with the incident.

According to the NewsX report, locals refused to perform the victim’s last rites till those responsible are arrested.

A report by Patrika said bystanders, who witnessed her abduction, alerted the police immediately. Despite the call, the police reach the scene of the crime only half an hour later, the report claimed.
