The Patna High Court on Thursday granted bail to suspended JD(U) leader’s son who allegedly killed Aditya Sachdeva, a class 12 student, in May this year.

Rocky Yadav, son of politicians Manorama Devi and Bindi Yadav, had allegedly shot dead Sachdeva in a road rage incident in Gaya.

The victim’s father has appealed to the Bihar government to challenge the accused's bail in the Supreme Court.

The Bihar government should file a petition in the Supreme Court against the High Court’s order granting bail to Rocky Yadav —the main accused in Aditya’s killing.

He also said that he plans to move the apex court personally if his demand is not met by the state government. Shyam Sachdeva demanded cancellation of the bail, and said: "If the Nitish Kumar government will not challenge it, I will."
