Here’s a list of Ganpati Festival Special Trains announced ahead of the festival.

Ganpati festival has begun. People celebrate Ganesh Utsav or Ganesh Chaturthi with a lot of passion and excitement. Magnificent Ganpati idols are installed in pandals and devoteess flock to the extravagant celebrations.

Railways have announced special trains on the occasion of Ganpati Festival 2019. Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation will also operate additional buses in the state.

The Press Release on the official website of Central Railway dated 17 May 2019 states, “Central Railway will run 166 special trains between CSMT/LTT/Dadar/Panvel/Pune – Karmali/Sawantwadi Road/Ratnagiri/Pernem/Thivim/Zarap to clear the extra rush of passengers during Ganpati Festival.” The details of the all these special trains can be found at https://cr.indianrailways.gov.in/

IRCTC Special Train List for Ganesh Festival 2019

Central Railways has recently announced six more Ganpati Special Trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Ratnagiri. Here’s what the official Twitter handle of Central Railways posted.

Apart from this, Central Railway has also announced three additional sleeper class coaches to be attached to 11003/11004 Tutari Express till 10 September 2019 to accommodate the passengers during Ganpati festival.

South Western Railway has also announced Special Tatkal Express Train between Yesvantpur and Mangaluru junction.

Union Minister of State of Railways Suresh Angadi ordered a special train to operate between Mysuru and Bijapur to accommodate passengers travelling for the festivities.

KSRTC will be operating special buses from Bengaluru and Mysore to different regions in the state for Ganesh Festival and Gowri Habba Festival.
