French Defence Min Likely to Ink Rafale Deal With India Next Week
The Rafale jets will expectedly cost India Euros 7.87 billion.

French Defence Minister, Jean Yves Le Drian will likely be visiting India on 23 September to conclude the 17-month long negotiations between India and France on the purchase of 36 Rafale fighter jets.
The Rafale deal will expectedly cost India Euros 7.87 billion, that is Rs 55,000 crores as fixed by rate of currency exchange in the contract.
The fighter jets will be customized as per the requirements of IAF and the delivery will begin from 2019.
