Fourth Accused in Kolkata Gangrape Arrested from Rly Station

The arrest comes a few weeks after the woman was found lying near a bus stop.

• The fourth accused in the alleged gangrape of a 24-year-old woman in Kolkata’s Salt Lake area was nabbed by the police from Kolkata Raliway station.
  
  
• Subrata Dutta, a driver, was arrested on Thursday after police received reports that the suspect was trying to flee.
  
  
• Three other accused, identified by CCTV footage of the crime, were previously arrested from a hideout in North 24-Parganas district a day after the alleged gangrape took place.
  
  
• The gangrape occurred when the woman was waiting on the road for transport and three to four persons forced her in an SUV.
