On almost all of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's tweets over the past few days, people have been requesting her to extend the due date of Tax Audit returns by another couple of months, to 30 November.
These requests appeared under most of her recent posts on Twitter, which include one on birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal upadhyay, one with her daughter and one congratulating PM Modi for receiving the Global Goalkeeper Award.
A member of the Direct Taxes Committee has represented the request of small business owners to extend the deadline to CBDT for the submission of tax audit reports from 30 September to 30 November 2019.
