Fatal Escape: How 8 SIMI Members Broke Out of Bhopal Central Jail

Within 12 hours of their escape, all eight were killed in an encounter in the outskirts of Bhopal.

Here are the details of how eight SIMI terror suspects managed to escape from the Central Jail of Bhopal. Within 12 hours, all eight were killed by the ATS of Bhopal police in an encounter in the outskirts of the capital city of the state. However, the inconsistencies in the statements made by the Bhopal police, and Maharashtra Home Minister are raising several questions on the encounter.

Bhopal police claim that the escaped prisoners fired at them during the encounter while the home minsiter said they were not carrying any guns.
