The government released new rules for the proper management and disposal of solid waste management last week. Among other things, the rules seek to integrate rag-pickers and make manufacturers responsible for non-biodegradable waste.

A WWF official has confirmed that poaching and habitat loss have essentially wiped out Cambodia’s tigers. Officials there are attempting to import wild tigers from other countries to save the tiger.
