Earthquake Strikes Muzaffarnagar, Tremors Felts in Delhi-NCR

An earthquake of magnitude 4.0 struck near Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar on Wednesday.

An earthquake of magnitude 4.0 struck Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar on Wednesday, 20 February, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC). Tremors due to the quake were felt in Delhi-NCR as well.

The epicentre was 44 kilometres southwest of Muzaffarnagar.

Another earthquake of 4.6 magnitude was recorded in Tajikistan’s Kofarnihon around 8 am on Wednesday morning.

No immediate loss of life and property has been reported.
