The results of the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), will be announced on Thursday, 15 February after 7:30 pm, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has announced.
The CMAT exams had taken place on 20 January 2018.
The AICTE, reports The Indian Express, has asked the students who sat for the exam to keep an eagle eye on the official website: aicte-cmat.in.
Once the results are out, the report adds, the students will be able to download the scorecard.
According to the report, the AICTE will prepare for merit ranking on the basis of the total score, where for each correct answer, there will be 4 marks, whereas for each incorrect answer,1 mark shall be deducted.
The CMAT, which was conducted on 20 January this year, is a highly competitive, national-level exam, that is held for student’s admissions into MBA programmes. A three-hour long standardised exam, it is expected to be completed online and in one sitting.
The various sections that come under a typical CMAT include quantitative technique, logical reasoning, language comprehension and general awareness, reports The Indian Express.
According to NDTV, the CMAT scores are to be accepted by all AICTE-approved institutions.
The report also mentioned that till 27 January, students were allowed to submit any possible objections they may have had against some of the questions. These were then be taken into account, depending on the kind of objections listed.

According to The Indian Express, the results will take into account both the overall test score and the individual sectional scores in terms of getting ranks. While those with a higher overall test-score will get a better rank, ties between students will be sorted out based on the performance of the students in the individual sections.
