A notice by the CBSE board on Wednesday, 28 March, sent the class 10 maths students and class 12 economics students into a tizzy. It bore the dreaded words – re-conduct of examinations!
Angry and agitated students took to Twitter, demanding answers from Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar.
"Why should we suffer?” they echoed.
Students blamed the CBSE for its failure – and opposed the idea of re-examinations.
But it wasn’t just the students who were angry.
AIB shared the sentiment of the students in a subtle Instagram post.
The comedy group East India Company (EIC) shared a post on every student’s state of mind.
HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar, in a press conference on Wednesday, said that an investigation is underway into the matter, and that tighter security will be put in place while distributing the question papers. But isn’t it too late, Mr Javadekar?
