“The Mob Attacked Entire Police Force”: Bulandshahr Eyewitness

An eyewitness in the killing of Uttar Pradesh policeman Subodh Kumar told news agency ANI that around 300-500 people had attacked the entire police force.

Sub inspector Suresh Kumar said that the crowd jammed the road and started throwing stones at the police.

“There were around 300-500 people. The entire police force was attacked. I got hurt myself and don’t know what happened after that.”

Narrating the ordeal, the sub inspector said that the police got information about the incident and after reaching the spot, there were remains of cattle.

“We said that we will send the remains for post mortem but the situation was of chaos. All of them were saying different things as we tried to record their statement. We tried to make them understand but failed.”

He further told ANI that the slain cop, Subodh Kumar Singh was like an elder brother to him.
