Children of two Bollywood celebrities, reportedly, beat up their classmate and face probe after five months, by the police. According to a report in Mid-day, the two minors (whose names have been withheld) allegedly assaulted their classmate.

According to the report, the complaint has gone directly to the juvenile court after the two minors allegedly thrashed their 13-year-old classmate outside his home.

The complaint has reportedly been filed by the victim’s father, who is a businessman, after an argument broke out between the minors in their school.

According to the report in Mid-day, the victim's father said in his complaint, "They took him towards the exact angle that was not covered by the CCTV camera. They caught him by his neck, threatened him, and subjected him to kicks and blows. They said they would not spare him if he complained against them."

He added, "They also made a video of my son and told him to pretend that they were teaching him martial arts. My son was scared, so he obeyed them."

The victim, along with his father, filed a police complaint in April after the incident took place.

"On April 12, we went to the police station, but instead of making a diary entry, as is done for juvenile cases, the police filed a non-cognisable (NC) offence. Despite repeated visits to police station, the cops did not act in accordance with the law," said Iva Bansal, the victim's advocate.

"This is the first private complaint that has ever been filed before the juvenile court, and the court directed the police to investigate the matter through the child welfare police officer," said Digvijay Chopra, another advocate on the victim's team.
