Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said he will not
apologise for targeting Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on the DDCA issue as his
government’s panel did not give anybody a clean chit.
A day after the BJP demanded a “public apology” from Kejriwal for levelling allegations against Jaitley on the issue, he tweeted his response.
On the Delhi government’s inquiry panel into DDCA case,
Kejriwal said,
The BJP had demanded a “public apology” on Sunday,
saying a report by the city government has found no evidence against Jaitley.
Party spokesperson M J Akbar said the DDCA file that Kejriwal used as the basis of his attack against Jaitley does not name the finance minister.
Kejriwal has previously repeatedly said that the BJP is afraid of a probe into the matter and so keeps on running away from an inquiry.
