If you think your exams were a nightmare, wait till you read about the recent ordeal 1000-odd candidates had to go through when they appeared for army recruitment examinations for clerical posts in Muzaffarnagar, Bihar on February 28, 2016.
According to an Indian Express report, this unusual move was made to save the time needed to frisk so many people and eliminate any chances of the candidates being able to cheat with the aid of scraps of paper hidden within clothes.
The act didn’t go unnoticed. Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, in a quest to uncover the naked truth, asked Army Chief Dalbir Singh for a report on the incident.
The Patna High Court has also taken cognisance of this incident. Chief Justice Ahmed Ansari’s 2-member committee will hear the matter on Tuesday.
