All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi, reacting to the Ayodhya verdict, said that he is not satisfied with the Supreme Court's judgment. Calling the 5-acre land a donation, he said that the Supreme Court, despite being supreme, is not "infallible."
Owaisi also took a dig at the Congress party. He said that the Congress has shown its true colours. He also blamed the grand old party for placing a Ram idol in Babri Masjid in 1949, a catalyst in the rise of Hindu nationalism in the country.
Owaisi added that those who demolished the Babri Masjid have now been asked to form a trust and start the construction of the temple. "Just by begging on the roads of Hyderabad, I will collect enough money to build a mosque in UP. We are fighting for our rights. No need to patronise us," he said.
