Jawan Kills Self at India Gate; Cites Family Issues in a Note

• An Army jawan shot himself dead at the India Gate on Tuesday.
• A Nasik resident, Havaldar Suneel Patole pulled the trigger on himself with his service AK-47 rifle. He was rushed to Armed Forces Clinic on Dalhousie Road, where he was declared brought dead.
• Patole left a suicide note in Marathi citing family issues. He was posted as coy quartermaster, 116TA para, Territorial Army Headquarters at Shershah Road, near High court.
