Activist Anna Hazare was on Thursday, 25 November, admitted to Ruby Hospital in Pune following a chest pain.
The 84-year-old has since been placed under observation and is presently stable, reported news agency ANI, citing Dr Avdhut Bodamwad, Medical Superintendent, Ruby Hall Clinic.
Quoting sources, Livemint reported that the well-known social activist had undergone angiography, and that the doctors have advised him to take rest.

Hazare, who was actively involved in the 2011 anti-corruption movement resides at Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district at Ralegan Siddhi village , which is around 87 km from Pune.
The activist had also written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying he would start the 'last hunger strike' of his life by the end of January.
However, he later called off the strike in the presence of BJP leader Fadnavis. Hazare had said he was prompted to call off the strike as the Centre had agreed "to work on 15 of his demands".
