After 6-Hour Rescue Ops, Boy Rescued from Borewell in Rajasthan

A minor boy aged around five years fell into an open borewell in Rajasthan’s Sirohi district on 5 December, police said.

✕ A five-year-old boy who had fallen into an open borewell was rescued in a six-hour rescue operation in Rajasthan's Sirohi district.
The boy was rescued after digging land parallel to the borewell, Circle Officer Sirohi Om Kumar said, adding that he was taken to a hospital.
Bhimaram (5) was playing in a farm in Siba village when he accidentally fell into a borewell and got stuck at a depth of nearly 15 feet.
An oxygen pipe was lowered into the borewell to assist him breath properly and the land was dug to rescue him, he said.
