The air conditioning system of a Delhi-bound Air India flight from Bagdogra on Monday malfunctioned, leading to protests from the passengers.
The flight, AI-880, had 168 passengers and made a safe landing in Delhi.
In a video footage, the passengers were seen to be huffing and puffing in the heat.
An Air India spokesperson said the passengers complained of faulty air conditioning system in the flight.
While passengers demanded action, Air India is yet to make a statement on the situation.
Some people took to Twitter to complain about the air conditioning problem in the flight. In fact, the problem with Air India AC seems to have occurred quite a few times even in the past. Tweets dating back to a few months also complained about malfunctioning ACs.
