2019 LS Polls: Here’s the Phase-Wise Schedule for All States

Lok Sabha elections will kick off on 11 April and votes will be counted on 23 May.

Lok Sabha elections will kick off on 11 April and polling will be held over seven phases till 19 May, followed by counting on 23 May, the Election Commission announced on Sunday, 10 March.

Here’s the phase-wise polling schedule of 29 states and 7 union territories, beginning 11 April.

States and UTs That Will Vote in a Single Phase

These are the states and Union Territories that will go to vote in a single phase in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

States That Will Go to Polls in Two Phases

Karnataka, Manipur, Rajasthan and Tripura will vote in two phases in the polls.

States to Witness Polling in Three Phases

Assam and Chhattisgarh will be voting in three phases in the polls.

States to Witness Polling in Four Phases

Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Odisha will witness polling in four phases.

State to Witness Polling in Five Phases

Jammu and Kashmir will witness polling in five phases in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

States to Witness Polling in Seven Phases

Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal will go to polls in seven phases.

Assembly polls in Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal, Odisha and Sikkim will also be held simultaneously, the Election Commission (EC) said.

However, elections for the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, which was dissolved after the ruling coalition between the BJP and the PDP fell apart, will not be held along with Lok Sabha polls.
