Receiving gangajal at home could be a reality, as Telecom Minister directed the Department of Posts to utilise e-commerce platforms to make arrangements for providing pure Gangajal from Haridwar, Rishikesh to people.
He remarked that when clothes, phones and jewellery are delivered, then why can’t the holy river water also be delivered?
Highlighting the NDA’s achievements, he said that by the end of 2016, all postmen in urban centres will be given smartphones, and handheld devices will be provided to postmen in 1.3 lakh rural post offices by March 2017.
