Surge pricing may end in Mumbai by 15 June, according to a Business Standard report.
Over the past few months, there have been two strikes by regular black-and-yellow taxi drivers. The drivers insisted that the variable pricing was unfair to them.
According to the report, “the reform could be passed by means of a government resolution instead of passing a Bill through the Vidhan Sabha.”
